Conference on North Korea considers ways to end Kim Dynasty

On Tuesday October 27th, Genocide Watch attended a conference regarding North Korea at Johns Hopkins University. The conference titled, U.S. Policy Toward North Korea: The case for Instituting a More Effective, Human Rights-Centric Approach was sponsored by several organizations including the U.S. Korea Institute at SAIS, the International Bar Association, Robert F. Kennedy Center for Human Rights, Defense Forum Foundation, Freedom House, North Korea Freedom Coalition, The Commitee For Human Rights in North Korea and the Yonsei Center for Human Liberty.
Distinguished Panelists and Speakers included: Justice Michael Kirby, Senator Cory Gardner, Republic of Korea’s Human Rights Ambassador, Lee Jung-Hoon and Republic of Korea’s Ambassador to the U.S. Ahn Ho-Young.
